For this assignment, I wanted to do more than just analyze a branded content piece, I wanted to make it feel real. Since I spend so much time listening to podcasts, turning my analysis into one felt like the perfect approach.
I chose Glossier’s Instagram post and broke it down: What makes this content marketing? What’s the goal—branding, engagement, or lead generation? And what impact does it have?
That’s how "Concept to Campaign" came to life—a podcast concept that explains digital marketing theories through real-world examples.
The Process
1. Research & Scriptwriting
Research & Scriptwriting I started with a structured analysis, then turned it into a scripted conversation between a host and a guest.
2. Branding the Podcast
Branding the Podcast I designed a logo and recreated Spotify’s landing page on Canva to make it look like a real show.
3. Producing the Audio
Using Descript, I generated a natural-sounding conversation, giving the podcast an authentic feel.
4. Final Production
I combined the Spotify-style visual with the audio in CapCut, creating a polished final piece.
